Friday, 8/27/04,(Hazy, Hot, and Humid) some families come & set-up, some just come & visit
Friday night, we had a visit from an Indian  (THANKS John)


    He was enjoyed by All
Stories, Lessons & Songs were shared
Sat AM we had Pancakes & Sausages,
followed by the coloring of our homemade Raingutter Reggatta Boats.
Then Compass Points were taught to all, with some puzzles that generated bead necklaces
LUNCH:  Pizza Pocket Foil Packs

With the temps in the 80's and HUMID too, most went swimming for a while
Then came our 1st Raingutter Reggatta





we had 19 participants, winner was Best time of  38:09 seconds  (results)
Sat. evening's Foil Pack Menu is:
Meatballs, Red Potatoes, Corn, Brocolli mix, Onions, Shredded cheese, Soy Sauce, Butter


Topped of with the Campfire Favorite of SMORES

Closing event for the night was the retiring of our flag
Flags that have been worn or torn and can to longer display the beauty
These flags are folded & placed on a specially made rack that can be placed of the coals
Readings & Ceremony war conducted by our Cubmaster

Upon closing, silence was requested as all retire for the evening in respect for our flag
Sunday AM, Temps stayed in the upper 60's overnight & very HUMID
Groumets from flag was retrieved from ashes & will be properly burried
Breakfast is Scambled Eggs, and Sausages
Site breakdown followed breakfast with the burning of extra wood
The day was concluded with a COMPASS WORD game
