One week before camp was to Start,
the Camp committe was called by the Executive Committee
saying that camp was going to be closed this year due to low sign-ups in week 1 & 2.
Camp committee asked for an extension to see if they could up the numbers,
combine weeks 1 & 2 into 3 & 4 & have at least 2 weeks camp,
or get Donations, Camp Committee was given 24 hrs.
Camp Committee did a LOT of calling, seeing if scouters could switch weeks
& looking for donations, and by a miracle,
we all need to give a BIG thanks to "1" Local company
that made a Large donation, which allowed Split Rock to be open all 4 weeks
