Sloppy Joe Casserole 8 oz (224 g) shell or elbow macaroni 1 envelope (about 1-1/2 oz / 42 g) Sloppy Joe seasoning mix 1 pound (454 g) ground beef 6 oz (168 g) tomato paste 8 oz (224 g) tomato sauce 16 oz (448 g) creamed cottage cheese (if you can't find creamed cottage cheese, use regular) 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated Cheddar cheese Cook macaroni as package directs; drain. Brown ground beef; drain and add tomato paste, tomato sauce, seasoning mix and water as envelope directs. In 2-1/2-quart (2-1/2-liter) casserole dish, layer half the macaroni, half the cottage cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat and top with grated cheese. Bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven, uncovered, for 40 to 50 minutes.
