APPLE CRISP Butter for baking dish 1 tblsp lemon juice 4 cups apples (Tart) (7-8 medium size) 2 tblsp oj 3/4 c flour 1 c light brown suger salt 1tsp cinnamon 4 tblsp butter 1/2 tsp nutmeg preheat oven to 375 deg. F Butter a 1 qt baking dish or 9" pyrex dish. Arrange apple slices in a dish... Mix half of the brown sugar with the cinnamon and nutmeg sprinkle over the apples... Add the juices.... To make crumb topping: mix the remaining sugar with the flour and dash of salt. cut in the butter... Sprinkle over the apples... Bake 35-40 minutes.
