Dirt Cake

   8      Oz            Cream Cheese
     1/2  C             Butter Or Margarine
     3/4  C             Powdered Sugar
   2      Pkgs          Vanilla Pudding -- Instant
   3 1/2  C             Milk
  12      Oz            Cool Whip®
   1      Lb Pkg        Oreo Cookies -- crushed

 1}  Cream together first 3 ingredients. 
   Mix the pudding and milk together til well blended.
   Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture and blend well.
   Fold in the Cool Whip.
 2} In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies til they soil.
 3} In a large dessert bowl pour a layer of crushed cookies on the bottom, 
       then a layer of creamy mixture and continue to alternate layers ending
         with the crushed cookies. 
 
    Keep this chilled in the refridgerator til ready to serve.
  You can layer this dessert in a CLEAN flower pot, 
add some Gummi Worms to the top layer of "dirt", 
put in some CLEAN plastic or silk flowers 
and serve with a CLEAN gardening shovel. 
You can keep this on the table during dinner 
as a center piece and when you're ready to serve dessert, 
watch the reactions you get from your family when you 
start seving up the "dirt" from your centerpiece.
