Hobo Cookies 1 cup (240 ml) white sugar 1 cup (240 ml) light corn syrup 1 cup (240 ml) crunchy peanut butter (creamy  is ok) 6 cups (1440 ml) crisp rice cereal (like Rice Krispies) 6 oz (168 ml) butterscotch chips 6 oz (168 ml) chocolate chips Mix sugar and syrup in a heavy pan, heat until it reaches a full boil.  Stir in peanut butter; mix well.  Pour the sugar mixture over the rice cereal and mix well.  Pour into a buttered 13x9-inch (32.5x23-cm) pan and pat even.   (I used a lightly buttered baggie on my hand to do this.)  Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips.  When melted, stir and spread over the top of the cookie mixture.  Let cool and cut into serving pieces.
