Mom's Apple Crisp 4 - 5 Granny Smith Apples prepared with the Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer. Layer the apple slices in the Stoneware Deep Dish Baker. For the topping combine: 8 graham cracker squares finely chopped with the Food Chopper, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/3 to 1/2 c. butter or margarine melted in the 1 Qt. Micro Cooker. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples and microwave on High for 12 minutes. (If you do not have a turntable, turn dish halfway after 6 minutes.) Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. *May also be baked in a conventional oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
