Etta's Favorite Meat Loaf 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup (240 ml) milk 2/3 cup (160 ml) finely crushed butter-flavored crackers 1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped onion 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon (2.5 to 3.75 ml) ground sage OR poultry seasoning 1/8 teaspoon (.63 ml) pepper 1-1/2 pounds (675 g) lean ground beef Green pepper rings, optional Onion rings, optional In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, crushed crackers, onion, salt, sage or poultry seasoning and pepper. Add ground beef; mix well. Press mixture into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 (180 C) for 1-1/4 hours or until no pink remains. Garnish with green pepper and onion rings if desired. Makes 6-8 servings.
