Crockpot Beef Roast a.. 2 lb. solid beef roast, rolled rump or b.. sirloin tip (2 to 3) c.. 2 Tbsp. oil In a large skillet, heat oil; brown roast on all sides. Drain fat. Into drippings add: a.. 1/2 c. catsup b.. 1 Tbsp. vinegar c.. Couple drops of hot sauce d.. 1/2 tsp.dry mustard e.. 1 or more cloves garlic f.. 2 Tbsp. molasses g.. I Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce h.. 1/2 tsp. chili powder Heat this all together and pour over the meat in the crock pot. Cook in crock pot on HIGH for 1 hour. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours more. Slice when meat is warm, not necessarily hot. Makes great sandwiches, French dips, etc. Remove garlic clove before serving. Freezes well.
