Crock Pot Pizza This is tasty! You can add a layer of fat free cottage cheese in the middle when you are putting it all together and it comes out like lasagna! I also sprinkle a little bit of Parmesan cheese as I'm putting this all together - it gives it more flavor without adding all that many more calories. It's delish!! 1 cup 'Gimme Lean' pretend hamburger (or lean ground chicken, beef or turkey - those low fat sausage patties work really well ) 1 cup pizza sauce 12 ounces pasta (your choice, I used angel hair pasta) 1/2 cup fat free mozzarella cheese 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup diced tomatoes (Italian seasoned ones taste best) 1/2 cup fat free Cheddar cheese 1 package vegetarian fat free pepperoni 1/2 cup sliced green pepper Brown meat and onion. Drain grease if you use real meat and not the vegetarian variety. Add sauces. Simmer. Boil noodles until tender; drain. In crock pot, put a layer of noodles, meat mixture, cheeses and pepperoni. Repeat layer one more time. Cook on high for 30 minutes, then on low for 1 hour or until cheese melts. This may also be baked in a 350 oven until cheese melts if you don't have a crock pot. Makes 8 servings
